Very Brief Dragon*Con Update

Sometimes I think that work is sentient. How else would it know to wait until the day I get back to start slamming me? Between recovering from jet-lag (even though I never left my own time zone) and getting back on top of work, I haven’t put together a comprehensive post on the awesomeness that was Dragon*Con. Until that time, you’ll just have to get on by looking at my pics over at Flickr.

Jaguar's first hover car
Introducing Jaguar’s first foray into the hover car market, the Jaguar XH. Show above is the single passenger racing model, however Jaguar assures us that a twin-seat consumer model is not far behind.
Crimson Guard Starfighter
The Crimson Guard is charged with the defense of the Emperor’s personal flagship. Armed only with twin pumped lasers, their relative lack of firepower is made up for by their extreme speed and agility.

Once again, one of my pictures has been selected to appear on Insect Picture of the Day. The picture’s pretty good, but the writeup totally makes it worthwhile to visit. I’m actually a couple of days behind reporting this. I guess my laziness extends to self-promotion as well as work deadlines and chores.
