Shameless self promotion or legitimate experiment?

Shooting up... with data!
I’m a data junkie. I love tables and graphs and charts. Google Analytics provides all kinds of awesomeness in this area. One fascinating aspect of collecting all this data is that one can see where one’s traffic is coming from (if one want’s to, which this one does).
Why do you care? Because I’m going to ask for your help with a little experiment. I want you to pick a post of mine that you like (or one that you don’t like, I’m not picky about what you pick, as long as it’s not my nose. That’s off limits) and click on one of the little linkies at the bottom of the post, the ones under Share and Enjoy. Submit the post to Digg or StumbleUpon. Those are the one’s I’m ‘specially curious about. I hear lots of hype about Digg, but I get a ton of hits from StumbleUpon. I’m curious to see if there is a direct correlation between submissions and hits and which one generates more activity.
Or I could totally just be trolling for cheap self-aggrandizement. I’ll leave it up to the sophisticated reader to decide.

The great decider
