Here’s a piece of advice. Every single one of those HOA pricks has a very, very embarrassing secret, and or pictures. Find them and broadcast them. I have a webserver and will donate the space.

I’ve found that people in authority fear only one thing, and that is the same thing they worship as their one and only god:

People looking at them.

Get ready all you Prim and proper assholes who call almost everything ugly ( all that EXCEPT what THEY call beautiful)- They day is soon coming when you just might wish your neighbor had some home grown food to give you. Ask me how I know – Some Americans have rarely spent a day without food -They may have felt slight hunger which they call starvation- Food riots in Greece – coming to America. These freedom sucking jerks need a night in a foxhole – that will shut their nosy squemish mouths -

I read this quite, but it sounds like you are in Celery Key. I live here and feel for you on the HOA. They really suck. They randomly apply the rules and don’t look at the big picture. Alan our fearless president has a conflict of interest because he owns 3 houses here two of which are rentals. He has his own agenda. As for the garden, I will have re-read the details, but if it says “properly contained”, then it makes perfect sense. One of my neighbors has erected an out of control garden that has crept into my yard. They did not use cedar and are probably attracting termites with the wood they are using. Your sounds completely reasonable. The problem is that there is no reasoning with some of the HOA stuff. I used to go to the meetings, but after a while could not take it anymore. Your garden is beautiful and those idiots don’t know what they are talking about.

I’m gonna cry just thinking about those tomatoes I won’t get to eat anymore. Not to mention the herbs and the watermelon…
