Colorblind no more
Posted by CyberLizard in Uncategorized on December 28, 2007
My wife is a scrapbooker scrapper cropper whatever those people who make scrapbooks call themselves. Anyway, I think she’s quite good at it and I love the fantastic way that our memories come to life in her books. I sometimes find myself viewing things in terms of their scrapability (is that even a word?)
To make a long story short and to prevent any further embarrassment of myself, here are some links to some sites that I thought would make a good addition to a cropper’s bag of tools, so to speak.
They feature some neat tools for creating/determining color palates.
And just to maintain my geek status, they’re terrific for website design.
Blown away

My 5 year old son blew me away this morning. He made his own Lego spaceship, all by himself! He identified all the parts and it was really cool. As soon as I download the pics, I’ll put them up. I knew that he enjoyed the stuff I made, but it’s a special thrill to see him create his own.
Almost there!

I couldn’t resist putting this up when I ran across it. Check out the new countdown clock over to the right. It can’t happen soon enough.
The next step in Lego evolution?

Here is the start to what promises to be a fantastic story line in one of my favorite web comics, Legostar Galactica. Ironically enough, the comic has yet to do a spoof of the actual Battlestar Galactica, despite its name. Go figger.
Olde English in a new context

The final battle of Beowulf. This is a seriously cool piece. I have a thing for mountains, and this one rocks (no pun intended).
Check out the other fantastic creations at The Brothers Brick. They do a much better job than I could at keeping up with the amazing world of Lego creations.
